My name is Rob Borgersen and I am an instructor in the Mathematics department at the University of Manitoba. My undergraduate degree was a joint honours in Math and Computer Science and my masters was a pure math masters in graph Ramsey theory.

I have always loved computers, ever since my parents bought me my first one at the age of 2. I love programming, and working with computers, but not as a career (I learned this through working in the computer science field for four 4-month work terms through the co-op program). However, I do love to teach, and feel unbelievably blessed to be able to do what I am doing today, and today I am finding new ways every day to use my technological and computer skills to better and further my teaching. This blog was created so that I could compile them all and share them with the community at large.

The content of this blog will focus on using technology in education specifically in the university/college level sciences, as I find this to be a lacking area in the blogosphere right now.

If you have any comments on articles, suggestions for future articles, or would just like to drop me a line, please feel free to email me any time.
