Quick and Easy Margin Control in LaTeX

It can be a real pain sometimes to get the margins right in a LaTeX document.  The package “geometry” gives you quick and easy control over the margins in any document.

For example:

\usepackage[left=0.5in, right=0.5in, top=1in, bottom=1in]{geometry}

This will set the left margin to 0.5in, the right margin to 0.5in, the top to 1in, and the bottom to 1in! It’s just that easy! Add this chunk of code to your preamble, and set the numbers how you want them!
